Job Description:
A company is looking for a Computational Biologist I /
Bioinformatician.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, testing, validation, and deployment of
bioinformatic analysis pipelines
Support biomedical data curation, data standardization, and data
modeling
Create and modify bioinformatic tools and software to meet
biomedical research needs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred in biology,
bioinformatics, computer science, or related field
Strong understanding of biology related to bioinformatic
applications and techniques
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python) and
workflow management software (e.g., Snakemake, Nextflow, WDL)
Experience with biological data modeling, standardization, and
harmonization, preferably using AI/ML techniques
Familiarity with code versioning software and deployment of
production-level bioinformatic code
