Job Description:

Modis is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant with strengths in QlikView Data Visualization software for an exciting 6+ contract opportunity with our Commercial Banking client, located in the heart of Downtown Chicago.
 
This individual will be working on a team as a point of contact for building and managing Qlikview dashboards and user interfaces.  This will start off as a 6-12+ month contract basis with an option for longer-term conversion.  
 
The day to day responsibilities for this Business Intelligence Developer will include:
- Working with QlikView to build dashboards from start to finish
- Analyzing, transforming and optimizing large data sets feeding into the QV Dashboards
- Applying and customizing dashboard formatting using style sheets
Developing QV user interfaces, including creating charts, filter boxes, list boxes, text objects, etc
- Using SQL scripts to transform data for various dashboard requirements
- Updating and writing SQL code to extract data from source systems into the QV Dashboard
 
REQUIRED SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
 
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in a related IT field (minimum Associates Degree required)
- Expertise in the use of QlikView Business Discovery Platform
- Extensive data modeling experience
- Advanced SQL Skills
- Preferred experience in QlikView Server Administration
